So do you want to be a vendor at the farmers market? Sounds good, but there are some guidelines to follow.
A farmers market is a bit different than a craft fair. We have more rules and regulations to follow. Each vendor agrees that at any time a minimum of 50% of the products they are presenting for sale are produced by the vendor
When inquiring about being a vendor at the market, please include your name and what your craft is or business is, and a bit of history about you and your business.
We are a juried market, so all vendors must be approved by the board.
All vendors must have liability insurance OR sign a risk waiver. Risk waivers are for NON-FOOD vendors only.
All vendors must have a tax ID number. You can apply for one online from New York State Tax & Finance. .
All food vendors must follow all NY State Ag & Market guidelines. You must also have a home processors license. https://agriculture.ny.gov/food-safety/home-processing
Some food vendors must also have a commercial kitchen license. https://agriculture.ny.gov/food-business-licensing
There is a $50.00 membership fee to join the farmers market.
There are currently only outside spaces available. Spaces are 10x10. A seasonal space is $250.00 and the daily fee is $35.00.
You must provide your own tent with weights, tables and chairs.
All vendors must sign acknowledging they have read our current Rules and Regulations.
